Last November, in collaboration with our partners at KIND, we launched our third neighborhood: the Lower East Side. We're so excited to bring our incredibly impactful Better Box to residents of the Riis and Wald Houses and to become an integral part of the community in time.
The launch event coincided with World Kindness Day — and this year, KIND went all in with Wellfare to give back. The day before our launch, 30+ KIND team members came to our Brooklyn HQ to pack Better Boxes with KIND bars and a variety of other nutritious and delicious products. And on launch day, KIND joined our volunteer crew to sign up 315 families and distribute over $78,000 worth of groceries to those in need.
