Wellfare's Founder & CEO Cole Riley spoke on the Increasing Equity and Access in Food Systems panel at Expo East, one of the nation's largest natural food conferences held in Philadelphia.
Joined by executives at UNSTUCK, Conscious Alliance and The Soulfull Project, Cole challenged brands to expand the confines of their "ideal customer" and to begin targeting their products toward low-income communities. The panel discussed challenges in the industry, innovations needed in the food system and actionable items for individuals to make an impact in their communities.
