This week, Wellfare's newest partner Venn, a neighborhood platform, hosted Wellfare and friends at their General Irving cafe in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Our founder Cole Riley joined to share a bit about our program, impact to date and how folks can get involved.
Venn’s mission is to help create a sense of belonging for people in their homes and neighborhoods. From day one, that’s meant building the tech platforms, expertise, and experiences that empower people everywhere to connect with the neighbors and neighborhoods around them.
Our event with Venn was a shining example of what's possible when you build community and bring people together. Venn members, Wellfare volunteers and others from the neighborhood turned out to learn, share and support.
