Jason Cohen, co-founder of Sensible Portions, Veggie Straws and formerly CEO of Halen Brands which had investments in Real Food From The Ground Up and OWYN, joins the Wellfare Advisory Board to help scale our Better Box program, develop our fundraising strategy and forge more brand partnerships.
Jason has been in the food and beverage industry since 1999 — starting, acquiring, investing and growing partnership brands like SkinnyPop, OWYN, Chef's Cut and Core Water. Jason is one of the premier entrepreneurs in the better-for-you space with over eight strategic sales in his lifetime. In Jason's words, "It's all about the team you put in place."
Since Wellfare's launch in 2020, Jason has been a big supporter of our work and vision, making generous personal donations every year and lending his time and network.
