Last month, Wellfare hosted the team from Gallagher, a global leader in insurance, risk management and consulting services, at our Brooklyn HQ to help pack Better Boxes. Over the course of the day, the group picked and packed 270 boxes with over $70,000 worth of premium groceries for families in need. In addition to the day of service, Gallagher also made a generous financial contribution to help support the growth of our program!

"Recently, we had the opportunity to support Wellfare in its fight against food insecurity and we were thrilled to do so. Our Manhattan interns joined forces with colleagues from the Manhattan Branch to pack 270 Better Boxes in record time. This experience allowed them to see firsthand our commitment to doing good and providing a dignified approach to nutritious groceries. We want to give a special shoutout to the vendors, and especially Cole Riley, for their dedication to breaking down barriers to nutritious food."
