amäzi becomes Better for All partner

amäzi, the sustainable dried fruit brand, has joined our Better for All partner tier, committing to quarterly product donations of their pineapple, jackfruit and plantain products for our Better Box program.

Better for All is a new tier established for Wellfare's most dedicated brand partners. For one year, each Better for All partner commits to quarterly product donations of a certain retail value. These commitments not only help us pack more product into Better Boxes, but they allow us to plan and forecast inventory needs months in advance. Additionally, Better for All partners collaborate on cause marketing campaigns, content spotlights and team volunteer projects, creating a truly integrated and impactful partnership.

amäzi is more than just a delicious and nutritious snack brand — they're also setting a new standard on how to ethically source and manufacture food products. They're committed to keeping production of their products in the home country from which they're sourced. Today that's Uganda, where amäzi makes their pineapple, jackfruit and plantain products. This arrangement creates a more equitable supply chain, resulting in new jobs and skill building. Now as a Better for All partner, our subscribing households will be able to enjoy amäzi's better-for-you products and play a part in their mission to #SnackonPurpose.

"Equity and inclusivity are two of amäzi's core values, as we work to build a more transparent, equitable supply chain through our made-in-Uganda snacks and vertically integrated partnerships with producers and farmers," said Renee Dunn, founder of amäzi. "For us, it only makes sense to continue this commitment on the US side! We're eager to partner with Wellfare to make access to healthy products more equitable!"
